Job Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic plans for the distribution unit aligned with the organization strategic objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with all distributors to assure accurate and timely supply of products.
- Monitor the performance of the distribution channels and make necessary adjustments when needed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Liaise with Production, Finance, Marketing and Sales Teams to guarantee minimal shortage of products in distributors all over the year.
- Lead and develop a team of key account professionals to implement the distribution and tender objectives.
- Propose and monitor the terms of agreements with distributor and initiate amendments for the sake of business when required.
- Manage the collection of sales reports from all authorized distributors and assure timely submission with internal stakeholder.
- Identify and address any distribution challenges or logistical issues and propose ideas to resolve it.
- Manage and end-to-end tender process for all the company’s portfolio.
- Identify and assess all tender project opportunities and proactively act accordingly to assure objectives are attained.
- Build and maintain strong relationship with all stakeholder in tender entities to assure smooth running of business.
- Monitor competitor activities to proactively act to obtain the tender objectives.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders internally and externally to gather necessary information and documentation for tender submissions.
- Ensure all tenders necessary documents, registrations, and certifications are up-to-date and compliant with requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Overall experience not less than 10 years in Pharmaceutical industry in Sales, Commercial, and/or Distribution activities.
- +2 years of proven experience in similar position in Pharmaceutical industry.
- Post graduate studies in Management is preferred.
- Good communication skills including proficiency in English language.
- Ability to analyze large volume of data and generate reports.
- Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills.
