Job Description

The HRBP will provide comprehensive HR support for the assigned work group. He/She will play strategic and operational role to support programs to employees and managers, including performance management, learning and development, employee relations and people culture.

The position will be responsible for:

Performance Management:

  • Lead the performance management process on departmental and individual levels, including the annual goal setting, periodical assessment process, and regular feedback sessions.
  • Provides performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counselling, disciplinary actions, etc.).
  • Periodically review the employee’s performance versus agreed KPI and recommend proper intervention.
  • Train employees on performance appraisal tools and follow up for timely completion.
  • Follow up with line managers the probation period for new comers to assure they are aligned with the organization expectations.

Learning and Development:

  • Participate in setting an end-to-end learning experience for employees and managers, in alignment with the Training Team.
  • Collect and analyze the Training Needs from the technical and competencies aspects and participate in setting an integrated plan for training delivery.
  • Work with Learning & Development team to create targeted growth plans for high-potential employees and emerging leaders, and corrective plans for low performers.

Employee Experience

  • Advise employees regarding human resources policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Manage the exit interview and come up with recommendation to enhance culture and employees’ retention.
  • Implement employee engagement initiatives, conduct engagement surveys, and follow up on action plans to improve morale and satisfaction.
  • Manage the employee’s grievance process and resolves complex employee relations issues, conduct thorough and objective investigation when necessary.
  • Play an integral role in building a positive employee experience and cultural success through implementation of initiative programs and Employer branding activities.
  • Work closely with management and employees to build impactful working relationships, enhance productivity and increase retention.

Talent Management:

  • Manage and liaise the Onboarding Plan for new joiners and assure they are equipped with the right tool to perform their job properly.
  • Participate in the selection of employee in alignment with the Recruitment Policy.
  • Responsible for employees’ succession planning program in alignment with line managers and Training Team.
  • Collaborate on workforce planning and talent acquisition to address business needs and future growth

Organizational Design:

  • Review the policies and procedures covering HR aspects related to the assigned work group and recommends any required update for existing ones and initiate the missing.
  • Suggest process improvements to help increase efficiency.

HR Systems/Reports

  • Prepare timely HR reports as required.
  • Utilize HR metrics and analytics to identify trends, forecast needs, and recommend strategic initiatives to support business objectives
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to Human Resources.
  • Support the HR team to execute and manage day to day HR operations to the assigned work group.

Requirements:

  • Overall experience of 8-10 years in Human Resources Department, preferably in pharmaceutical or relevant industry.
  • Previous generalist experience with different HR modules is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated experience in Performance Management and Setting KPIs.
  • Demonstrated experience in using HRIS is a plus.
  • Strong data insight and reporting skills.
  • Good communication skills including good command of English.
