Job Description
- Control the production process to meet the agreed production plan within approved cost and quality standards, in alignment with departmental and company objectives, and in compliance with quality and EHS standards.
- Discuss and develop a weekly production plan with the concerned departments.
- Monitor the completion of ERP system activities related to the production department.
- Monitor the performance of the production department in accordance with GMP and ZETA Pharma standards.
- Manage MOH logs on a regular basis.
- Control process deviations.
- Analyze trend charts and APRs to initiate necessary corrective actions aimed at increasing product output and yield, in coordination with the QA department.
- Assist the QA and Engineering departments in carrying out the qualification of equipment related to production.
- Troubleshoot existing batches and participate in new product development.
- Ensure the effective implementation of quality management systems as per CGMP and international manufacturing requirements.
- Participate in the preparation of validation protocols and in conducting process validations.
- Work closely with the R&D team to scale up pilot batches to production batches.
- Serve as a core member of the internal audit team and act as a representative during external audits.
- Review tablet tooling drawings and place orders in accordance with approved specifications.
- Coordinate with the Engineering department to ensure the building, machinery, and equipment are maintained in good condition.
- Increase awareness of SOPs and GMP among all production department employees through training, motivation, and leading by example.
- Ensure optimal performance of the production team through effective training, motivation, and delegation.
- Set and implement development plans for the production team through structured training programs and regular follow-up.
Qualifications:
- Â Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in the production of solid, non-sterile dosage forms.
- Professional communication skills, including a good command of the English language.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate an efficient team.
- Team player with the ability to work independently.
